For Every Computer Sold by My Tech Guys, We Give $5 to the Cumberland Forest Society

After a 6 month hiatus, the well-received My Tech Guys Tech Talk series is back and bigger than ever!

Every Computer we sell comes with an hour free in-store lesson. The time with one of our geeks installs some confidence in using the new machine, but tech moves fast, and there is a definite need for more sessions covering a range of topics! Tech Talks are an hour and a half long sessions concentrating on some of the more useful aspects of Technology.

If you want to learn about topics such as Computer Security and protecting yourself online, getting the most out of your Apple device, or Desktop Maintenance 101 and extending the life of your machine, then you have come to the right place! Our Tech Talk series covers a range of topics accross the technical spectrum in a welcoming classroom environment.

Taught in a quiet after-work environment by friendly geeks, Brian Bailey, Mitchell Jordan, Bob Wells or Erica Mercer, the current Tech Talks runs as a series of 25 different lessons that you can sign up as a package of 5, 10 or 25 lessons or just for the lessons of which you need the most for $25 each.

Lessons start at 6:30 on Thursday Evenings and the series commences October 4th and we would love to see you there!

We do talks out and about in the community for groups such as ReMax, L’Arche, Evergreen Seniors Center, the Military Family Resource Center and more but have not run the Tech Talks in-house for a couple years and are excited to relaunch them! The in-store talks tend to be much more interactive and the series enables us to get to know our customers as they learn!

We are thrilled to be relaunch our trademark Tech Talks here in the Comox Valley. It’s amazing to see people progress through the series by signing up for some or all of the courses and drastically improve their technical knowledge!
