My Tech Guys is excited to be hosting a Chamber Mixer Tuesday June 5th from 5-7pm at their Courtenay Store.  For nearly 6 years they have been providing in-home, in-office and in-store computer service and sales in the Comox Valley.  "It boggles my mind that the little shop in Comox has grown to service over 9,000 customers in less than 6 years.  And most of our new customers are referred by our existing customers" says owner Bob Wells.  "We never imagined that we would be this busy and continue growing so fast.  It's been a real challenge to make sure that we keep it simple and make sure we are focused on customer service and our team has been outstanding."

The Courtenay Store has seen a huge facelift on the outside making the building much more attractive.  Although there are still things left to be done, residents of Glacierview Plaza want everyone to know we are "open for business".  Many business were hard hit during renovations, especially when the white shrink wrap went up.  "It was a retail barrier keeping customers out.  We couldn't wait for it to come down and let in the sunshine!!" says Bryan Tisdale, My Tech Guys Regional Manager.

My Tech Guys is also proud of their new Tech Talks seminar series launched in May.  "Our first two sessions sold out in hours of our announcement last month." says Tech Talks Geek Wrangler Richard Caissie.  "These seminars are to help out customers wanting basic info on various technology topics, and they get to pick the brains of the geeks that are using this stuff all the time."  My Tech Guys had been talking about doing these since opening their first store but we were always too busy.  The slowdown during the renovations gave them some time to work on projects that they knew were important but just couldn't get to.

There will be appetizers, and door prizes donated by local Chamber Businesses, and fun Trivia Games for prizes.  My Tech Guys will have several people on hand to answer any techy questions you might have with no "Geek Speak".
